Come and see us at the Petersfield Spring Festival! 🎣

Spring Bank Holiday is just around the corner, and the Petersfield & District Angling Club is heading back to the heart of town!

We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be at the Petersfield Spring Festival on Sunday, 24th May and Monday, 25th May.

Whether you’re a seasoned specimen angler or someone who’s never even held a rod, we’d love for you to drop by our stall and say hello.

Why Visit the PDAC Stall?

Community is at the heart of what we do. Our Development Programme is all about getting people outdoors and into the sport we love. At our festival stand, you can:

• Meet the Team: Chat with our experienced anglers about the best local spots, from the tranquil waters of Harting Combe to the depths of Nyewood Ponds.

• Get Fishing Tips: Thinking of starting a new hobby? We’ll have information on our upcoming 'Get Fishing' outreach days and junior events designed for beginners.

• Join the Club: Want to secure your 2026 membership? We can walk you through the process and show you the incredible variety of waters your permit unlocks.

• Junior Opportunities: Learn more about our JCC Junior League and how we’re supporting the next generation of local anglers.

  

  
  

  The club's involvement is an essential component of its Development Programme, which leverages community events to support its "Get Fishing" outreach initiatives. We are currently looking for volunteers specifically for our 2026 community outreach events, ensuring our participation in significant local gatherings such as the Spring Festival, Southdowns Show, and various other community events.

• When: Sunday 24th May (10am–10pm) & Monday 25th May (10am–5pm)

The Petersfield Spring Festival is always a fantastic weekend of live music, local food, and family fun. Make sure to take a break from the stalls and stages to come talk "shop" (and fish) with us.

Want to help out? 

We are still looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us at the stall for a few hours. It’s a great way to give back to the club and share your passion with the public.
