For the last 18 months the Pdac have held a Social Evening once a month in association with Herne Farm Leisure Centre.
Its a great way for members to meet other club members, meeting up for a few drinks, with music from the resident DJ.
It also gives members the opportunity to form friendships outside the fishing fraternity with the local residents too.
We hold a raffle every month and the occasional meat raffle too, to which all of the proceeds went towards funding a Defibrillator to be situated at the Herne Farm Leisure Centre.
The Defibrillator is now in place and ready for use, and one day it will save someones life.
The Pdac wish to thank all those members that attended our Social Evenings and contributed to help raise in excess of £500 towards the project.
Although the social evenings are currently cancelled due to the Covid-19, we shall continue with them once the government allow us to resume with such events.
