Well after three days fishing this year in the cold and wet with a combined catch in single figures, it was a pleasure out at Nyewood today sitting in just a tee shirt and catching all day. I fished peg 3 on the bottom pond, float fishing mainly on maggots. A constant stream of 4-6" roach and hybrids with 3 about 8", some nice bream and a couple of perch. There was carp showing but only one came my way but came off. Even had to get the sun lotion out. Great day.
