Members John Kane & Kris Collins had some overnight success on Harting Coombe this weekend with new personal bests for both anglers on the venue.
John Kane:
I was lucky enough to catch at Harting Coombe this weekend, and it turns out it was Big Orange.
I think it's slightly down on weight at the moment at 29lb.3oz., but it's still a new personal best and another target fish off my list!
It was the only Carp i had, along with 7 Bream around the 6lb mark.
I'm absolutely buzzing with excitement!, and cant wait to get back up there again.

All the time and effort has now paid off!.
My first Carp from Harting Coombe, a nice 18lb 6oz Mirror Carp,
Just want to thank John Kane for taking the picture after being rudely awaken by myself at 3am this morning but needed a good photo as it was my first.
I also netted a 4lb Tench along with 2 Bream to 5lb.
