Nyewood EA Project Work Party – Call for volunteers
The top lake at Nyewood will be closed to fishing along the dam on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th August.
The Environment Agency are completing bank restoration using soft engineering to prevent further erosion of the earth dam wall between the ponds. This is a collaborative project with PDAC and any volunteers for a few hours on either date(s) are appreciated.
Work will start from 10am. Bring waders, gloves, post knockers and saws if you have them.
The work will not be physically demanding and will be completed at an easy pace.
