Another Successful Outreach!

ree

The PDAC Development team has once again demonstrated their capability and commitment by successfully delivering another outreach campaign at the recent Southdowns Show. This year, the campaign featured two engaging attractions that captivated a diverse audience, drawing in many visitors who eagerly participated in the various activities showcased. The atmosphere at the event was vibrant, with attendees of all ages expressing their enthusiasm and curiosity about the offerings presented by the team.

Unfortunately, the images captured during the event fail to convey the true essence of the experience, as the team was often overwhelmed by the sheer number of individuals who flocked to the stand. At peak times, it was nearly impossible to take photos, as the team was fully engaged in interacting with attendees, answering questions, and guiding them through the activities. This high level of engagement speaks volumes about the interest generated by the campaign and the effectiveness of the team's outreach efforts.

In addition to the lively interactions, the feedback received from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees expressed their appreciation for the initiative, and by midday on the second day of the show, the team had successfully cleared out all half-year applications. This rapid response not only highlights the demand for the program but also underscores the team's efficiency in managing the influx of interest. Throughout the event, numerous connections were forged with various organisations, both those involved in fishing and others outside the fishing community, paving the way for future possible collaborations and partnerships.

The success of this outreach campaign would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the volunteers who generously gave up their free time to assist the team. Their contributions were invaluable in ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that visitors had a memorable experience. The team extends their heartfelt gratitude to each volunteer who played a role in this initiative, recognising that it was their collective effort that made the event such a resounding success.

Special thanks go to the following individuals who made significant contributions: Sean Crowley, John Forster, Ian Jennings, Rob Grant, Roger Pulley, Barry Favell, Viv Elliott and Jake's Toys of Petersfield. Each of these volunteers brought their unique skills and enthusiasm to the table, enhancing the overall impact of the outreach campaign.

As we look forward to future initiatives, the
