Another successful Outreach Campaign.

A Fantastic Weekend of Outreach at the Southdowns Show 🎣

Our Outreach & Development Team have been out and about at the Southdowns Show, providing activities and engaging with the thousands of visitors attending across the two days.

The event gave us a fantastic opportunity to promote Petersfield & District Angling Club, showcase our development programme and speak with local families about the range of free angling programmes we offer to help inspire the next generation of anglers.

There was huge interest throughout the weekend, with our casting challenge, magnetic fishing and our new activity, “Batter the Cod”, proving particularly popular! 🎯🐟

The photos here really don't do justice to the level of attention we received. With the stand and activities so busy, the only opportunities to get the camera out were during the quieter spells when the displays were active in the main arena!

A massive thank you to all our club volunteers who gave up their free time to help promote the club, and to everyone who visited our stand, chatted with the team and showed an interest in our club, development programme and waters. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Sadly, on the final day we were informed by the organisers that the Southdowns Show will no longer be taking place. We would like to thank Hometown Events and their team for all their hard work in providing community events over the years, and for the support they have shown to Petersfield & District Angling Club.

Looking ahead, our Development Team will be planning next year's outreach campaign, with the aim of continuing to provide fun and engaging activities at local community events.
