The much-anticipated 24-hour Carp Match took place on Saturday at Harting Combe.
Four pairs participated, but only two Carp were caught by Matt Smart, weighing 12.02 and 24.10.
The participants showed great enthusiasm, and a sense of camaraderie was clear among everyone on the bank.
Luckily for John Hussey, he was teamed up with Matt, and they split the £200 cash prize, along with various gifts donated by AVS and Beaver Tools. Furthermore, they were honoured with the ANDIDECS Night Match Shield.

This event supported the local charity MOTIV8, which focuses on creating safer, more connected communities where young people can express themselves, use their voices, and develop new skills through opportunities that help them thrive. The group participating in the event raised just over £600. A fantastic effort!
Alex Munday, the host and organiser, stated, "I thank all the club members who participated and donated funds to a worthy cause. I also express my gratitude to Steve at AVS Rowlands Castle and Russell at Beaver Tool Hire for their generous donations of tools, etc. A final thank you to the PDAC and committee. The event had created a fantastic atmosphere, I shall be hosting another event next year!"
