I would like to remind all of the membership that the clubs AGM takes place on Tuesday 13th February 2024 at Petersfield Community Centre, starting promptly at 7.00pm, this is an earlier start than usual due to the venue change.
Please remember that any motions & nominations need to be made in writing with a proposer and seconder not less than 21 days prior to the meeting.
Also, any matters that you would like adding to A.O.B would help be highlighted before the night so we can add to the agenda and be able for the club to have any relevant information to hand.
On a committee front several members had tendered their resignations this year after serving the club for many years, we currently have vacancies and need to fill these urgently, we are still looking for a treasurer, a membership secretary for 2025 and also members to fill roles as ordinary committee members.
After serving the club as match secretary for more years than I can remember, 2024 will be Andy Reeds last year running it so this will be another role to fill for 2025, and if possibly someone was interested, they could shadow Andy for 2024 as he continues to run our match scene in his final year.
A reminder that those attending the AGM will automatically be entered in the free membership draw, we would be grateful to donations to the annual raffle (all proceeds to the PDAC Development Programme).
Sadly, the venue does not have a bar, members are advised to bring their own drinks.
