Gates & Locks
Reminding members that gates must be locked at all times, we are notably receiving more & more reports of gates either being left opened or closed, but not securely locked.
We understand that locks will become temperamental at times, we advise members to notify the pond Warden (contact details can be found within your permit and listed on all venue notice boards) and once notified, then an official will be on site to rectify the lock.
We have also noticed on numerous occasions that some members, may have believed they had locked up, but in fact, the lock and clasp have closed but have not engaged. We advise members when locking up, once the clasp is closed and the combination scrambled…please give the lock a short tug to ensure it has engaged and securely locked.
