JCC Junior League news

In the second round of the JCC junior series at Marsh Farm, our junior members participated as a team against the Godalming juniors in the annual Inter-Club event.

The weather was challenging, with conditions that even some senior anglers would have avoided, yet all team members persevered.

Due to the rain and wind, bites were hard to detect, but a 30-minute break in the weather allowed everyone to catch a fish.

Team members from Godalming claimed the top three spots, while Jack and Luke Hales took fourth and fifth places respectively for Petersfield. The weights highlighted the challenging conditions, as a good-sized fish could have secured a win for anyone.

Godalming claimed victory with 20 points against Petersfield's 35 points (lower score wins).

We extend our gratitude to Dave Ewing and Godalming for their annual invitation to Marsh Farm and eagerly anticipate a return match at Nyewood ponds soon.

The individual weights of Petersfield Junior's were recorded, and points were given for the JCC Junior League Series. (full results listed below).
