Get ready to cast off! 🎣 The Petersfield & District Angling Club (PDAC) has confirmed the return of the JCC Lighting Junior League for the 2026 season. Whether you're a seasoned young pro or picking up a rod for the first time, this is your chance to get on the water, learn new skills, and compete for some fantastic prizes.
What’s in store this season?
Inclusive Fun: The league is open to all members aged 16 and under, regardless of ability.
Top-Tier Prizes: Thanks to the continued generous sponsorship from JCC Lighting, there are amazing trophies and prizes up for grabs, including the Masters, Aggregate, Specimen and most improved trophies.
Supportive Environment: The PDAC Development team provides essential gear like keepnets on request and offers coaching to help you hone your technique.
Exciting Venues: Matches typically take place at prime local spots like Nyewood Top Pond, with inter-club events often expanding the competition to sites like Marsh Farm. Two additional away venues have been added to the series, Springbok and Billy’s Lake.

Beyond the competition, it’s all about the community. Past seasons have seen young anglers grow in confidence, make new friends, and even represent the club in thrilling inter-club matches.
