Nyewood Ponds update 20/12/25

Nyewood Ponds:

We had planned to reopen Nyewood Bottom tomorrow (Sun 21st), but due to a low turnout at today's work party, the remaining tasks could not be completed safely. Consequently, another work party is scheduled for Saturday, 27th Dec., from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. We hope more members will join to help with the tasks.

A strong turnout is essential to maintain the continuity of our work, including the proposed netting and introduction of new stock.

It's unfair to ask those who have already given up the last two weekends to sacrifice another one to safely complete these projects.

Please, we urge you to come and support our efforts to ensure everything is ready for the arrival of the new stock.

Nyewood Ponds: Sat 27th Dec. 8:30 am, chest waders recommended but not mandatory.
