Pdac Update 27th July.
Updated: Jul 27
The next work party is scheduled for Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd August.
We aim to complete the project we started, we hope to see a few volunteers. We need to manoeuvre some steelwork around the lake...."some big strong lads required".
The lake will be closed to night anglers for the Saturday, day anglers are welcome.
Please avoid using swims 1-8 as work will be carried out behind these swims and hopefully with very little disturbance.
Members are requested to read and follow the rules regarding guest tickets before booking.
Tickets are only available to those for fishing.
Only Pdac members, Associate members and booked guests are permitted on all Pdac waters.
Members may book 1 guest only, this does not permit your guest to be accompanied by a non fishing or any other person(s).
Members are reminded to follow the rules for all venues regarding equipment.(check the handbook)
Please ensure that you have the correct net size for the right venue and they are Carp safe.
We have received reports of members using inappropriate (OLD KNOTTED STYLE) nets that are not Carp safe.
It is not acceptable for members transporting fish from mats to the water by hand without nets from 20ft away.
When handling and returning Carp, members must use nets at all times.
Fish Care is paramount on all Pdac waters.
Those members that have been reported, have been flagged and will be monitored by club Baliffs.
