Temporary Closure

Harting Combe is currently closed until further notice due to Carp spawning, this period is critical for the Carp as they engage in their reproductive activities and it is essential to provide a peaceful environment for the Carp to spawn undisturbed.

During this closure, club bailiffs and officials will be actively observing fish activity, and ensuring that the spawning process is occurring without interference. The bailiffs will compile their findings and report updates to the committee, which will help with decisions regarding the reopening of the venue.

In light of the closure, the main gate to the venue has been secured with an additional lock to deter members from entering the area during these activities.
