Theft Alert!

Advising members not to leave items in their vans/vehicles or on view, when fishing the River Rother at Iping/Chithurst.

Sadly, a member fishing the stretch of Rother at Iping, only for a short spell, had returned to his vehicle find the remainder of his fishing equipment had been stolen.

Those involved with the theft had targeted his vehicle that was parked outside St Mary's Church in Iping, It had been suggested that some form of electronic device was used to gain access, as no damage had occurred and the vehicle was locked by the perpetrator(s).
